      <title>Configuring your email client: Thunderbird</title>

<p>This article will take a quick and in depth look into setting up Thunderbird with your Brick Studios email.</p>

<p>Info you will need:</p>

<p>• Your domain name, e.g. brickstudios.com<br />
• Your email address.<br />
• Your email password.</p>

<p>1. Open Thunderbird.</p>

<p>2. From the <b>Tools</b> menu, choose <b>Account Settings&#8230;</b></p>

<p>3. Click the <b>Add Account</b> button. </p>

<p>4. Select <b>Email account</b> and click the <b>Next</b> Button.</p>

<p>5. Enter <b>Your Name</b> as you want it to appear. <br />
Enter your full email address <b>username@your-domain-name.com</b> in the &#8216;Email address:&#8217; field. <br />
Click on the <b>Next</b> button. </p>

<p>6. Select <b>POP3</b> or <b>IMAP</b> <br />
Enter <b>mail.your-domain-name.com</b> in the &#8216;Incoming Server:&#8217; field. <br />
Click on the <b>Next</b> button. </p>

<p>7. Enter your full email address <b>username@your-domain-name.com</b> in the Incoming User Name field. <br />
Click on the <b>Next</b> button.</p>

<p>8. Enter the name you want to refer to this email account in the <b>Account Name</b> field. <br />
Click on the <b>Next</b> button. </p>

<p>9. You are almost done setting up your email. Click <b>Next</b></p>

<p>10. Highlight the <b>Outgoing Server (SMTP)</b> Click on the <b>Edit</b> button. </p>

<p>11. Select the <b>Use name and password</b> check box <br />
Fill in your entire email address in the <b>User Name</b> field. <br />
Click on <b>OK</b> <br />
Close the Account Settings window</p>

<p>1. Open Outlook 2007.</p>

<p>2. Click the Tools menu, and select Account Settings.</p>

<p>3. Click on the Email tab and click on the &#8220;New&#8230;&#8221; button.</p>

<p>4. Next, select POP3, IMAP or HTTP and click Next.</p>

<p>5. On the Auto Account Setup window check the Manually configure server settings or additional server types and click Next.</p>

<p><b>NOTE: <i>Brick Studios does not support the Auto Account Setup on our mail servers, so you should not use the Auto Account Setup feature.</i></b></p>

<p>6. Select Internet E-mail option and click Next. </p>

<p>7. Fill in the following fields:  <br />
• Enter Your Name as you want it to appear.<br />
• Enter your full email address username@yourdomainname.com  in the Email Address field.<br />
• Select POP3 or IMAP.<br />
• Enter mail.yourdomainname.com in the Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP) server: field.<br />
• Enter mail.yourdomainname.com in the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server field.<br />
• Enter your username username@yourdomainname.com in the Account name field.<br />
• Enter your email password in the Password field.</p>

<p>8. Perform the following steps:<br />
• Click on More Settings&#8230; <br />
• Click on the Outgoing Server tab.<br />
• Check My outgoing server (SMTP) Requires Authentication<br />
• Make sure Use same setting as my incoming mail server is also checked.<br />
• Click on OK.</p>

<p>9. Click the Test Account Settings button and you should see all items with green check marks.<br />
Click the Close Button to close the test window.  <br />
Click OK to save your settings.</p>

      <title>Setting Up an Email Account on an iPhone or iPod Touch</title>

<p>This article will take a quick and in depth look into setting up an iPhone or iPod Touch with your Brick Studios email.</p>

<p>You can set up and make changes to an email account directly on the iPhone or the iPod Touch. You will simply need the standard email account information: username, password, and the incoming and outgoing mail server host information for your domain, e.g. mail.your-domain-name.com.</p>

<p>Enter account settings directly on iPhone</p>

<p>1. If this is the first account you&#8217;re setting up on the iPhone or the iPod Touch, tap <b>Mail</b>. Otherwise, from the Home screen choose <b>Settings > Mail > Accounts > Add Account.</b></p>

<p>2. Choose your email account type. For setting up email to work with your Brick Studios service choose <b>Other</b>. </p>

<p>3. Select server type - <b>IMAP or POP</b>, and enter account information.</p>

<p>Fill in your information:<br />
• Name<br />
• Address username@your-domain-name.com<br />
• Description<br />
• Incoming Mail Server Host Name mail.your-domain-name.com<br />
• User Name username@your-domain-name.com<br />
• Password</p>

<p>Fill in your information:</p>

<p>• Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) Host Name mail.your-domain-name.com<br />
• User Name username@your-domain-name.com<br />
• Password<br />
• and Tap <b>Save</b> to save the entered information. </p>

<p>5. Upon successful completion of the mailbox setup you are taken back to the Mail Settings screen. </p>

<p>6. If you used the IMAP setting follow the additional steps below:</p>

<p>To download the Inbox folders such as the Sent Items, from the Home screen choose <b>Settings > Mail > choose your account.</b></p>

<p>And click on <b>Advanced</b>, then for the <b>IMAP Path Prefix</b> enter INBOX in all capital letters.</p>

<p>You may also want your iPhone or iPod Touch to store your “Sent” and “Draft” messages on the server you can also change this setting in the advanced settings area. </p>
